Inside a cosmetic procedure
The care and precision behind cosmetic work, as it actually happens.
Cosmetic dentistry should not erase the character of your smile. It should refine what feels out of balance while preserving the qualities that make it yours.
At B Dental Studio, Dr. Bella Beck approaches every smile with restraint, precision, and an artist’s eye. She considers your facial features, natural tooth structure, bite, proportions, expressions, and personal goals before recommending treatment.

Not the same smile for everyone. The right result for you.
Cosmetic dentistry is often associated with perfectly white, perfectly straight, perfectly identical teeth. Dr. Bella believes true beauty is more nuanced. Natural teeth have subtle variations in shape, texture, translucency, and proportion. These details give a smile warmth and authenticity.
Before recommending treatment, Dr. Bella asks:
Sometimes the right plan involves several treatments. Sometimes one small, carefully designed change is enough. The goal is never more treatment. The goal is the right treatment.
Real teeth are never identical. Subtle differences in length, edge, and texture are what make a smile look like a person.

You may know exactly what you want, or you may only know that something about your smile does not feel right. Dr. Bella will help you understand what is creating that feeling and which options may be appropriate.
Your evaluation may consider:
Each option changes a different amount of natural tooth. Dr. Bella starts with the lightest touch that can solve the real concern.
Veneers are thin, custom-made restorations placed over the visible surfaces of selected teeth to improve their shape, color, proportion, or overall appearance. They may be considered when several cosmetic concerns affect the same tooth or group of teeth.
Veneers may help address
Dr. Bella does not design veneers as identical white tiles.
She considers how each tooth relates to the lips, face, neighboring teeth, and the smile as a whole. Shape, texture, translucency, color, and proportion are carefully planned to create a refined result that still feels natural.
No-prep and minimal-prep veneers are conservative veneer approaches that may require little or, in selected cases, no reduction of the natural tooth surface. Their purpose is not simply to avoid preparation. Their purpose is to achieve a beautiful and functional result while preserving healthy enamel whenever the patient’s anatomy allows it.
They may be considered when
Dr. Bella evaluates each tooth individually and recommends the preparation approach that supports the most natural, responsible, and predictable result.
Smile design is the planning process behind a harmonious cosmetic result. Rather than evaluating one tooth in isolation, Dr. Bella considers how the entire smile relates to the face, lips, gums, bite, and natural movement of expression.

Professional teeth whitening is designed to reduce certain stains and brighten the natural color of your teeth.
It may be considered for
Fillings, crowns, bonding, and veneers do not whiten the way natural enamel does. That is why shade and sequence are planned together.
Before whitening, Dr. Bella evaluates the health of the teeth and gums, the type of discoloration, sensitivity concerns, and any existing restorations. The goal is not always the whitest possible shade. It is a brightness that looks fresh, healthy, and harmonious with your features.
Invisalign uses a planned series of removable clear aligners to gradually move teeth.
Clear aligner treatment may be considered for
Instead of reshaping a tooth to compensate for its position, Dr. Bella may recommend aligning it first.
In some cases, moving teeth into a better position can reduce the amount of cosmetic or restorative treatment needed later. This can support more conservative treatment and a more balanced final result.
Cosmetic bonding uses tooth-colored composite material applied directly to the tooth. Dr. Bella shapes and polishes the material by hand to refine selected details of the smile.
It may be considered for
Bonding can be a conservative option because it may require little alteration of healthy tooth structure in appropriate cases. But conservative does not mean simplistic.
Natural-looking bonding requires an understanding of tooth anatomy, surface texture, reflected light, proportion, and how the restored tooth relates to the rest of the smile. Dr. Bella does not use bonding to make every tooth identical. She uses it to restore balance while retaining the small variations that make a smile look real.
Tap the line that sounds most like you. These suggestions are only starting points. A clinical examination is necessary before recommending any cosmetic procedure.
That balance is the whole point of Dr. Bella’s approach. A comprehensive smile design looks at every detail together and changes only what improves the result.

Dr. Bella evaluates your teeth, gums, bite, enamel, alignment, existing dental work, and overall facial balance.
Your options are organized into a thoughtful plan. When more than one approach is reasonable, Dr. Bella explains the differences, limitations, maintenance, and level of tooth alteration involved.
Your oral health is addressed first. Whitening, alignment, gum care, or restorative treatment may be recommended before the final cosmetic procedure.
Color, shape, texture, proportion, and function are refined with meticulous attention to detail.
You receive guidance on home care, professional maintenance, retainers, or bite protection when appropriate.
Dr. Bella’s cosmetic philosophy is guided by six principles. Hover or tap a card to read each one.
Cosmetic improvement should not require unnecessary removal of healthy enamel.
Your smile should complement your face, expressions, age, and personality.
A beautiful result must also respect your bite and everyday function.
When bonding, whitening, or alignment can achieve the desired result, more extensive treatment may not be necessary.
Real teeth are not flat, opaque, or perfectly identical. Texture, translucency, proportion, and subtle variation matter.
Every cosmetic restoration requires care and may eventually need maintenance, repair, or replacement. These considerations should be understood before treatment begins.
Clear answers, without pressure. If your question is not here, we are happy to talk it through at your consultation.
It depends on your concern. Whitening may be appropriate for color, Invisalign may address tooth position, and bonding may improve selected chips or shapes. The most conservative option is the one that addresses the actual problem without unnecessary treatment.
In selected cases, veneers may be placed without removing tooth structure. Other cases require minor preparation to avoid bulk, support the bite, or create a natural result. Dr. Bella determines this individually rather than promising a no-prep approach before an examination.
Sometimes. If tooth position is contributing to the cosmetic concern, Invisalign may create a more conservative foundation for bonding or veneers. In other situations, orthodontic treatment may not be necessary.
No. Whitening primarily affects natural tooth structure. Existing bonding, crowns, and veneers generally do not whiten in the same way. Whitening may therefore need to be completed before selecting the shade of new restorations.
Longevity varies based on the treatment, material, bite, grinding or clenching, oral hygiene, diet, habits, and maintenance. No cosmetic restoration should be considered permanent or guaranteed for a specific number of years.
Creating a natural-looking result is central to Dr. Bella’s philosophy. However, the final outcome depends on your starting condition, treatment selection, materials, number of teeth treated, healing, maintenance, and other individual factors.
No. You can begin by explaining what you would like to improve. Dr. Bella will evaluate your smile and discuss the treatments that may be appropriate.
Individual results may vary.
Whether you are considering whitening, bonding, Invisalign, veneers, or a complete smile design, your treatment begins with understanding what can be preserved and what change will make the greatest difference.
