Placing veneers is not the finish line. About a week after treatment, you return so Dr. Beck can study how your new smile is settling into real life, and fine-tune anything that needs it.
Your bite is rechecked. Even a perfect-looking veneer must meet its neighbors correctly, so your bite is tested and balanced again after a week of normal use.
Your gums are examined. Healthy, comfortable gum tissue around each veneer is what keeps the result beautiful for years, so it gets its own careful look.
The aesthetics are evaluated. Shade, shape, and symmetry are reviewed now that you have lived with your smile, smiled at people, and seen it in every mirror.
Small refinements at this visit are normal, and they are part of doing the job properly. And if anything feels uncomfortable before then, call us rather than waiting for the scheduled visit.
